Troubleshooting
Problem
If you use the update tool to update an IBM Business Automation Manager Open Editions 8.0.4
rhpam-business-central-eap7-deployable installation to above releases like 8.0.4.SP1 (8.0.4-IF001) and even 8.0.5 , the update fails with the following error.
$ ./apply-updates.sh ~/jboss-eap-7.4/standalone/deployments/business-central.war bamoe-business-central-eap7-deployable
...
ERROR - The patch is not valid for the distribution and version!
Symptom
Note: this only affects business-central.war in the 8.0.4 distribution (kie-server is not affected, other versions such as 8.0.3 or 8.0.4-IF001 are not affected).
