PQ71289: INCORRECT SPACE ESTIMATION FOR TEMPLATE LEADS TO ABENDB37 ON SYSCOPY DURING REORG.

Error description

• customer runs an online reorg with an inline full image copy and
  allocates the image copy dataset via a template:
  TEMPLATE TSYSCOP1
           DSN('DB2IM.&SS..Z1.&DB..&SN..&IC.&JU(3,5)..#&TI(1,4).')
           DISP(MOD,CATLG,CATLG)
  Since he doesn't specify a SPACE parm on the template, DB2 does
  this for him. But it largely underestimates the space needed and
  leads to abendb37 when the reorg is run. Runstats info for this
  tablespace is up to date.

  User ran a REORG TABLESPACE with an INLINE COPY allocated with a
  TEMPLATE specification with no SPACE option.  The table space
  had a 32K page size.  The size estimated by the utility for the
  dynamically allocated copy data set was too small, causing a B37
  abend when the data set filled up.  The space allocated for the
  data set was based on the number of pages in the table space,
  but the calculation failed to account for page sizes larger than
  4K.  The copy data set was allocated with only 1/8th the space
  required.
  
  The same problem could also occur for 8K and 16K page sizes.
  

Problem conclusion

• REORG has been modifed to adjust the copy data set space
  allocation to account for the table space page size.
