APAR status

Error description

  • Per IBM Documentation link, the fscontext.jar and
providerutil.jar files are required if your application
performs JNDI lookups using a file system context.

The fscontext.jar and providerutil.jar are missing from
installation of IBM MQ 8.1 for HPE NonStop

Local fix

  • Copy JNDI jar files from installation of IBM MQ for
Multiplatforms

Problem summary

  • The decision was made to ship these archives with MQ on HPE
NonStop Server.

Problem conclusion

  • fscontext.jar and providerutil.jar have been added to the IBM
MQ on HPE NonStop Server product.

The fix is targeted for delivery in maintenance level 8.1.0.20
of IBM MQ for HPE NonStop 8.1.
The latest available maintenance can be obtained from
'WebSphere MQ Recommended Fixes'
