Unable to select options in drop-down menu using a mouse

Problem

Intermittent issues related to drop-down menu are identified in Analytic Server console. The issue appeared after the fix pack release for AS Dojo library upgrade to 1.17.3.

Symptom

You might face intermittent issues when you use a mouse to select drop-down menu options in the Analytic Server.

The issue is seen in drop-down menu in the following UI controls when you log in to the Analytic Server console:

  • Go to Home > Projects. Select a project and expand the tab Sharing. Mouse control might fail for drop-down menu that contains the options Viewer or Owner.

  • Go to Home > Data Sources > New. Mouse control might fail for drop-down menu that contains the options files, databases and geospatial.

  • Go to Home > Data Sources. Create a new data source or select an existing source.

    • Expand the tab Sharing. Mouse control might fail for drop-down menu that contains the options Author and Reader.

    • Expand the tab File Input. Open Files included in data source definition: in File Viewer. Mouse control might fail for drop-down menu in Formats > Field Overrides.

    • Expand the tab Output. Mouse control might fail for drop-down menu in File format.

  • Go to Home > Data Sources. Select the DataSource type. Expand the tab Database Selections. Mouse control might fail for the drop-down menu for the field Database.
