Troubleshooting
Problem
When publishing a package or republishing an existing package some users are facing an error while other users can successfully publish the package.
Symptom
Some users are able to publish/republish packages but some users are getting the following error when trying to publish a package.
BMT-MD-0003 CM-REQ-4012 You do not have the appropriate permissions to update or delete the object "{Path where package is being published}" or a related object.CAF-WRN-2082 An error has occurred. Please contact your administrator. The complete error has been logged by CAF with SecureErrorID:2024-02-28-06:26:43.507-#9
Users who receive the error can see the folder and package (if previously published by another modeler) in the Cognos Analytics portal, which leads to confusion as to why they cannot publish to that folder.
