Abstract
This document describes how to download IBM Business Monitor eAssembly images from the Passport Advantage website.
Download Description
IBM Business Monitor is a comprehensive business activity monitoring (BAM) software product that provides an up-to-date view of your business performance. Personalized business dashboards process business events and data, and calculate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Business Monitor can collect events and data from a wide variety of sources, including IBM Business Process Manager.

Downloading the relevant eAssembly images from the IBM Passport Advantage website
- Ensure that your workstation has sufficient space to store both the files you must download from IBM Passport Advantage and the extracted installation image.
- Go to the IBM Passport Advantage website.
- Sign in and download the images that you need to a temporary directory. The parts are listed by platform in the table below.
Required and optional software is labeled in the table. Your need for parts depends on your usage and configuration choices. - Extract the downloaded files to one directory.
Important: Do not use the utility provided by Windows to decompress the files. Launchpad updates fail if this utility is used.
Note: Depending on the extraction tool you use, you might receive warning messages that you are about to overwrite existing files. You can overwrite these files without any problems. - Open the Quick Start Guide, located in the Quick Start image, to access documentation to help with product installation.

Accessing and installing recommended fixes for IBM Business Monitor V8.5.7
If you intend on monitoring IBM Business Process Manager V8.5.0.1, V8.0.1.2 or V7.5.1.2 with IBM Business Monitor V8.5.7, then you must apply this interim fix.
