Error description
With IBM Spectrum Protect Plus, if the following conditions are met : - At least one guest disk is excluded from backup with the original SLA. - The original SLA association for that VM is removed. - The VM is associated to the new SLA. - Both SLAs backup schedules are active. Then that VM will unexpectedly be protected with both the original and new SLA. This happens because the exclude rule for the guest disk(s) still is incorrectly associated to the original SLA. | MDVREGR 10.1.9 5737SPLUS | IBM Spectrum Protect Plus Versions Affected: IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.10 and later for VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V guests. Additional Keywords: SPP, SPPLUS, TS015247135

Problem conclusion
In IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.15.3 and later, there is a bug that causes a VM to be backed up incorrectly in an previous SLA after it is moved from one SLA to another. This bug has been fixed in IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.16.2, which ensures that a VM moved from one SLA to another is only backed up in the destination SLA (the SLA to which the VM was moved).
