IBM Support

Release Note: In single sign-on configurations, you can't log out of IBM Administration Console for Content Platform Engine (ACCE) in IBM Business Automation Workflow

Release Notes

Abstract

In single sign-on environment (third-party authentication as described in Configuring third-party authentication products) logging out of IBM Administration Console for Content Platform Engine (ACCE) in IBM Business Automation Workflow might not work, because the logout event cannot be propagated to the single sign-on server.

Content

Symptom

Because the user is not logged out of the single sign-on server, attempting to access any protected URL on the Business Automation Workflow Server after logout from ACCE might trigger implicit "relogin" of the previous user based on single sign-on.

Cause

Business Automation Workflow allows you to configure a URL per web application as redirect target so that a user's browser can trigger a logout on the single sign-on server, but there is no such setting for ACCE.

Resolving The Problem

Users can either log out from any other web application that uses single-sign-on or close all browser windows.
