IBM Security zSecure 3.1.0 Compliance Update March 2024

Abstract

Several updates were made in the zSecure 3.1.0 compliance-related information (OA66140, OA66141, OA66210).

Content

zSecure Audit has been updated to support zSecure Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) for RACF version 1.1.

zSecure Audit has also been updated to support the following z/OS STIG versions:

IBM z/OS RACF STIG, V8R13
  • RACF-ES-000540 - Changed access for MAN and IFASMF files
  • RACF-ES-000770 - Updated check and fix language to clarify SETROPTS password requirements
IBM z/OS ACF2 STIG, V8R14
  • ACF2-ES-000500 - Changed check and fix to be more specific for clarity
  • ACF2-ES-000620 - Changed title to be more specific for clarity
IBM z/OS Top Secret STIG, V8R12
  • TSS0-OS-000330 - Removed requirement; duplicate of TSS0-OS-000380
  • Revision History format for multipart STIGs revised to ensure clarity in the versioning
