Abstract
The IBM Maximo Application Suite - Visual Inspection Component Service Update version 8.9.1 was released on 28 February 2024. The service update contains general code and security fix updates.
Content
Service updates are included in the Maximo Visual Inspection Server and the Maximo Visual Inspection Edge subcomponents.
Maximo Visual Inspection
- DT247391: make use of 'certManager.privateKey.size' in the Suite Binding.
- DT248074: Support Venafi cluster certificate issue.
- DT257103: Changing dataset purpose from "training" to "training" can fail on pre-existing datasets.
- DT257762: Support GPU Resource Quotas per namespace.
- DT258009: Certain images can cause the mobile app and the UI to hang on white screens.
- Prevent "task-pvc" pod from re-running on deletion.
- Avoid Java Virtual Machine Out Of Memory condition when deleting large groups of files.

- Ensure model deploying state is correct after an upgrade.
- Edge UI can occasionally display duplicate object information.
- Ensure timestamps are included in alerts contained in image details.
- Resolve race condition in the Deep Learning Engine (DLE) when an inference completes.
- Ensure Edge the "Configuration Wizard" displays existing MQTT settings.
- Resolve CME panic in "MVIRestWriter" on some HTTP Requests.
- Custom pipelines fail when including a REST writer component.
- Resolve various security vulnerabilities.
