Abstract
The IBM Maximo Application Suite - Visual Inspection Component Service Update version 8.8.2 was released on 28 February 2024. The service update contains general code and security fix updates.
Content
Service updates are included in the Maximo Visual Inspection Server and the Maximo Visual Inspection Edge subcomponents.
Maximo Visual Inspection
- DT247391: make use of 'certManager.privateKey.syze' in the Suite Binding.
- DT248074: Support Venafi cluster certificate issue.
- Prevent "task-pvc" pod from re-running on deletion.
- Avoid Java Virtual Machine Out Of Memory condition when deleting large groups of files.
- Lower cpu requests.
- Handle "TIMED_OUT" user changes in the user sync process.
- Support optional commonName in public certificate.
- Fix issue to support Grafana dashboards in multiple namespaces.
- Resolve race condition in the Deep Learning Engine (DLE) when an inference completes.
- Adjust pod and JVM memory requirements to prevent JVM memory overruns in high image upload environments.
- Change FRCNN model training to recoginize JPG images with extentions of "jpeg" or "JPEG".
- Support Grafana v5.
- Resolve various security vulnerabilities.
Maximo Visual Inspection Edge
- Edge UI can occasionally diplay duplicate object information.
- Ensure timestamps are included in alerts contained in image details.
- Resolve race condition in the Deep Learning Engine (DLE) when an inference completes.
- Resolve CME panic in "MVIRestWriter" on some HTTP Requests.
- Resolve various security vulnerabilities.
