Error description

  • The steps can be followed to reproduce:

    1. define a subrule to exclude some filespaces

    $define subrule <stgrule_name>  <subrule_name> <node_name>
    file=<fsid>,<fsid>,<fsid>,â ¦ nametype=fsid action=norepl

    2. run expiration against the node

    $expire inventory nodes=<node_name> wait=yes

    3. check the subrule members and find the decommissioned
    nonempty filespaces disappear

    If enabling trace for expiration with trace flags SC, the
    following lines tell that the decommissioned filespace is
    deleted by expiration.

    xx:xx:xx.xxx [xxx][scutil.c][4807][scIsFsTiering]:Enter: nodeId
    xxx, fsId xxx

    xx:xx:xx.xxx [xxx][scutil.c][4856][scIsFsTiering]:Exit: found
    False

    xx:xx:xx.xxx
    [xxx][scutil.c][1565][scDeleteSubruleMembersForFs]:Enter: txnId
    xxx, fsId xxx

    xx:xx:xx.xxx
