On 30 January 2024, IBM released IBM® Maximo® Application Suite Manage Component patch 8.6.9.

DT213687 System UI With Maximo Application Suite 8.10, new functionality was added to the Inspection Application introduced, MVI analysis. The component used to view the MVI result is the graphite-common-solution-components (gcsc). Originally, the Inspection app was built with gcsc-2.0.13, but this component is incompatible with the Config Tool (MAF 8_10_6). It was necessary to upgrade the gcsc to a version that is compatible with the Config Tool. Maximo Asset Management clients must install TPAE 7.6.1.3 interim fix 016 or later.
DT237105 System UI Logging into Maximo Mobile fails with error BMXAA7901E if the password contains special characters.
DT243409 Mobile In the Technician Tile, unable to search for Work Orders that have a value that includes an apostrophe (').
DT243499 Mobile During the release MAS-8.10 the inspection application introduce a new functionality, MVI analysis. IJ47091 Inventory The "Disallow Negative Current Balance" and "Disallow Negative Available Balance" settings do not get applied in all scenarios.
IJ48261 Work Order Tracking When a user exits Edit Mode with unsaved changes, the user is redirected to the List tab and the result list is cleared.
IJ49537 Login A failed login attempt results in the error "The server has encountered an unknown error." rather than BMXAA7901E - "You cannot log in at this time. Contact the system administrator.".

Manually Installing the Patch
  • Log in to Maximo Application Suite Administration as an administrative user.
  • On the left, click Applications.
  • From the Action menu, select Update configuration.
  • In the dialog box, click the pencil icon on the Components line.
  • Under Activation configuration, click your workspace details page link.
  • From the Action menu, select Update configuration.
  • Under Configurations, click the pencil icon on the Components line.
  • In the Maximo Base line, under new version click the down arrow.
  • Select Version. Enter 8.6.9
  • Click Save.
