Error description

  • The capturing of query performance data could fail in the sense
    that the pop-up window to finalize the saving of the trace data
    is not displayed and that no data are collected.
    In such a situation a  subsequent retry of the data capturing as
    
    well as an attempt to just collect an accelerator trace will
    also not be successful.
    
    The reason for this issue is a race condition within the trace
    collection itself that can cause this deadlock.
    
    A fix for this issue will be made available with Accelerator
    maintenance level 7.5.12.2.

Local fix

  • To overcome the issue, IBM support needs to log on to the
    accelerator.
    The support engineer may find "Trace Collection" tasks hanging.
    A cancellation of the tasks will not be successful.
    A restart of the accelerator server will cure the issue and will
    make the trace collection possible again.

  • The issue has been solved with Accelerator maintenance level
    7.5.12.2. Upgrade your accelerator environment(s) accordingly.
