Error description
The capturing of query performance data could fail in the sense that the pop-up window to finalize the saving of the trace data is not displayed and that no data are collected. In such a situation a subsequent retry of the data capturing as well as an attempt to just collect an accelerator trace will also not be successful. The reason for this issue is a race condition within the trace collection itself that can cause this deadlock. A fix for this issue will be made available with Accelerator maintenance level 7.5.12.2. Local fix
To overcome the issue, IBM support needs to log on to the accelerator. The support engineer may find "Trace Collection" tasks hanging. A cancellation of the tasks will not be successful. A restart of the accelerator server will cure the issue and will make the trace collection possible again.
