Error description

• In a Global Mirror environment, where there are more than one
  MTPPRC (multi-target PPRC) legs, then the first leg is removed,
  MSGIEA494I PPRC PAIR SUSPENDED messages are only issued once
  after an IPL. This only occurs when PPRCMT is disabled in
  DEVSUPxx parmlib member.
  

Local fix

• Enable PPRCMT by the following:
  1. Create a DEVSUPxx parmlib member
  2. Copy the current DEVSUPxx parmlib member to the new member.
  3. Add Enable(PPRCMT) Statement in the new DEVSUPxx member.
  4. SET DEVSUP=xx to activate new member.

Problem conclusion

• When processing a State Change Interrupt on a 2107 storage
  subsystem that supports Multi-Target PPRC with PPRCMT
  feature disabled, IEA494I SUSPEND messages are not surfaced
  due to an incorrect assumption that a single PPRC
  relationship in a multi-target environment is always
  relationship 1.  This presumption results in not resetting
  a flag used to prevent multiple instances of IEA494I
  SUSPEND messages to be surfaced.  Checking is modified to
  determine hardware supports MTPPRC and resetting the flag
  when duplex/pending status has been done for 1 of 4
  possible relationships.
