Error description

• When Logical Copy is used to process GDG datasets, an error
  with a particular generation may be ignored if later gener-
  ations succeed.  This leads to more errors, and incomplete
  processing of the GDG.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using Logical Copy on GDGs, and    *
  *                      allocation or copy errors occur, copy   *
  *                      processing continues with the remaining *
  *                      generations, and does not save the      *
  *                      error status.  This leads to further    *
  *                      errors in the ranming process.          *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF when available.       *
  ****************************************************************
  The logical copy process continues through all generations of a
  GDG, and only the final dataset's status controls error status.
  A GDG dataset that fails allocation or copy needs will likely
  cause further errors, leading to loss of some generations.
  

Problem conclusion

• Logical Copy has been changed to stop processing a GDG when an
  error occurs on any of them.  The entire GDG will be flagged as
  failed, and no further action will be taken.
  This will allow the user to correct the problem and retry the
  GDG later.
