IJ49595: SHELF LIFE DOESN'T CROSSOVER WHILE TRANSFERRING A LOTTED ITEM USING INVENTORY USAGE

Error description

• Problem:
  Shelf Life doesn't crossover while transferring a lotted item
  using Inventory Usage
  
  Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Open the Inventory Usage application
  2. Create a new record
  3. Populate the 'From Storeroom' field with 'Central'
  4. Under Usage Lines select 'New Row'
  5. Set the Usage Type to 'Transfer'
  6. Populate the Item field with an Item of Lot Type 'Lot' and
  that has Shelf Life and Expiration Date fields populated
  (TESTITEM0001)
  7. Under the Transfer Details section populate the 'To
  Storeroom' field with a different storeroom then the From
  Storeroom field (HWMCLEAN)
  8. Populate the 'To Bin' and 'To Lot' fields
  9. Change the status of the Inventory Usage record to Complete
  10. Move to the inventory application and locate the transferred
  item for the new storeroom
  11. View the Inventory Balances section of the record.
  
  Results:
  Expiration Date is populated with the same date but the Shelf
  Life field is being left blank.
  
  Expected Results:
  The Shelf Life field should also be populated
  
  Reported In Version:
  Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.3

  The shelf life and the expiration date are not carried correctly
  and as expected to a new lot when transferring a lotted item to
  a new lot in the same storeroom as well as a different
  storeroom. Thus the change involves setting shelf life and
  expiration date (if not null) for matrectrans from the inventory
  record of the lotted item.
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem is only applicable to 7.6.1.3 IFIX and will be
  fixed in a future IFIX.
