APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When using the IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) Design Studio,
it is not currently possible to enter a forward slash in the map
input card properties box to point to a Unix / Linux style
location for the MDQ file.  This means that the same map source
file cannot be compiled on Linux using the mcompile utility, as
the MDQ file is sometimes needed at compile time.

IBM Transformation Extender users using Database Adapter.

Problem Description:
The Unix style forward slash directory delimiter is not allowed
into the card detail box DBQ File Path descriptor. (MDQ
reference).

Problem conclusion

  • Corrected and allow to enter the Unix style forward slash
directory delimiter for the DBQ File Path descriptor.

Applies to:
10.1.0.3, 10.1.1.1, 10.1.2.0

Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
