Error description
If a IBM Storage Protect server 8.1.20 is installed on a new machine where there is no 8.1.20 client installed when a "dsmserv restore db" is attempted, it fails with: "ANR3009E Database restore not possible, client API is not compatible: 8.1.17.0." The server install binaries for 8.1.20.0 were packaged with a lower API client version.
Local fix
Install an 8.1.20.0 IBM Storage Protect client on the same machine.
