FileNet Content Manager and IBM Content Foundation Configuration Manager logs are not created in the user.home directory

Troubleshooting

Problem

Configuration Manager log files are usually created in the user.home directory. The log files have a naming convention of configmgr<number>.log . Under certain circumstances, the log files are not generated in the correct location. However, some logging information is written to the following location:
user.home\configmgr_workspace_5.5.11.0\.metadata\.log
