Checking TDS connectivity using idsilist

Troubleshooting


Problem

Tivoli Directory Server is unable to function according to the config in ibmslapd.conf. Verify using this tool.

Resolving The Problem

You can use the idsilist tool to determine whether the TDS instance is able to read ibmslapd.conf file to successfully function.

This tool is available at the directory below (or the location specified during installation of TDS) and this command should be run as root for the TNPMW product.

A working environment example on Solaris :

# pwd

/opt/IBM/ldap/V6.2/sbin

# ./idsilist -a

Directory server instances:
