Abstract

With APAR PJ42905 applied, 000004 (OPR-4) system errors can occur from the IBM MQ sweeper that might result in system outages and data loss. Apply APAR PJ47209 to resolve this issue.

With PJ42905 applied, 000004 (OPR-4) system errors can occur from the IBM MQ sweeper and prevent the sweeper from moving IBM MQ messages from SWBs to disk. SWBs can be depleted and result in prolonged input list shutdown or catastrophic system outages. The problematic IBM MQ queue might need to be cleared to resolve the errors. When the queue is cleared, messages on that queue are lost. APAR PJ47209 resolves this issue.
