PH27274: ABENDS0C6 IN MODULE DFSDLR00 LABEL INITXIT WHEN R14 LOW ORDER BIT=1. 20/07/08 PTF PECHANGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• S0C6 is issued in label INITXIT for BR 14 in module DFSDLR00 -
  PH22477 because the low order bit=1 in R14.
  INITXIT was entered following processing in routine NABNDGG that
  stored a GG status code in the DBPCB for a Procopt=GOTP.
  NABNDGG was branched to from code in label CHECKGON added by
  APAR PH22477.
  
  The DMBB latch was obtained and held in Exclusive mode while
  checking if processing a separated data segment.

  Code added by PH22626 returns a GG status code if a PCB with
  PROCOPT=GOx reads a split segment whose prefix shows the segment
  is split, but the data part of the segment shows that it is no
  longer split.  The ABEND0C6 occurs because the program is using
  a save area that has the R14 value marked as returned (low bit
  set to 1) .  When DFSDLR00 attempted to return to its caller,
  the abend occurred.
  
  
  
    This APAR backs out the code added by PH22626.
  

Problem conclusion

•     The code that was added to DFSDLR00 by PH22626 is removed.
