Summary
Problem: For Linux/UNIX systems, certain Guardium Data Protection S-TAP updates combined with certain sniffer patches do not support the ability to transfer DB_USER in the event of a failover.
Solution: Make sure that the S-TAP updates and sniffer patches are compatible. After you install the updates, stop and restart the sniffer to engage failover.
