Troubleshooting
Problem
You create some IBM MQ cluster queue managers using lower case. You later realize you do not want to use lower case and delete the queue managers. You try to force-remove the queue managers from the cluster and have problems. The lowercase queue managers are still there, and the newly defined uppercase one (which is the one you want) is no longer there when you display CLUSQMGR.
Symptom
You see the message
AMQ9599 Program could not open queue manager object. The attempt to open either the queue or queue manager object SYSTEM.CLUSTER.COMMAND.QUEUE on queue manager XX.sample.01 failed with reason code 2087.
Reason code 2087 means MQRC_UNKNOWN_REMOTE_Q_MGR
Notice the lowercase in the queue manager name even though that queue manager does not exist anymore.
