Error description

  • User is unable to upload list of files to TSO using IND$FILE
when running a custom transfer type in PCOMM v15.0.1 (64bit).

    RE-CREATE STEPS:

    1. Launch PCOMM session (without connecting yet to TSO)
    2. Go to Settings > Transfer... > MVS/TSO tab
    3. Created/Save a new custom Transfer Type, named it for example
"ddl", then set the following config:
-Put checks on all 3 File Options - "ascii", "crlf", and
    "append"
       -Set Record Format to "Fixed"
-Set Logical Record Length to "80"
       -Set Allocation Units to "Cylinders"
    4. Go to Actions > Send File To Host... > Templates... button
    5. Replaced the Template "1)" to have the following values:
       -Set Host File to "db2.out"
-Set Transfer Type to the custom type I created - "ddl"
    6. Do a File > Save on the PCOMM session
    7. Closed the PCOMM session, and then launched it again
    8. Connected and login to TSO screen
    9. Navigated to TSO option 6 (ISPF Command Shell)
    10. Clicked the Send button in the PCOMM Toolbar
    11. Browsed for a sample text PC File (SAMPLE.txt)
    12. Then, it automatically fills the Host name to "db2.out", and
Transfer Type to "ddl", as set in the template
    13. Clicked the Add to List button, and it added the entry to
    the Transfer List below
    14. And lastly, clicked the Send button, and the transfer will
    not proceed.
    15. Looking into the command line in ISPF screen, it gets filled
    with the following unusual commands:

    ===> IND$FILE PUT DB2.OUTIND$FILE PUT DB2.OUTIND$FILE PUT
    DB2.OUTIND$FILE PUT DB2.OUTIND$FILE PUT DB2.OUT__________
