OA65051: AGMSYSIN DOESN'T OVERRIDE GRPNAME STATEMENT

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When you specify multiple GRPNAME statements in different
AGMSYSIN datasets , the first one value is picked up and so no
override occurs (value in last concatenated AGMSYSIN dataset is
    expected.
This behaviour is inconsistent with the other statements like
QUENAME and TRANSID that instead are overridden (last configured
    value is taken as final)

Local fix

  • Specify the GRPNAME you want to take as last in the first
    concatenated AGMSYSYN dataset

zAPM should always use the last Group Name.

Problem conclusion

  • zAPM has been modified to use the last Group Name if multiple
datasets are concatenated to AGMSYSIN to be consistent.

Temporary fix
