Problem
Greenplum version 6 JDBC drivers (for example 6.0.0.000109 (F002053.U001097)) are describing columns of data type TIME as TIMESTAMP.
Symptom
Cognos Analytics imports metadata for a model (Framework Manager or Data Modules) from a Greenplum server. Columns that are expected to be data type TIME are described as TIMESTAMP.
A query is executed against a Greenplum server that projects a column reference or value expression expected to be data type TIME but described as TIMESTAMP.
Older versions of the Greenplum JDBC driver (for example 5.1.4.000270 (F000450.U000214)) return the expected data type of TIME.
