SevOne NPM unable to discover WiFi Access Points of Wireless LAN Controllers with higher versions than the supported vendor software

Troubleshooting

Problem

The SevOne NPM WiFi Collector fails to collect data from Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) devices. The Access Points are not discovered and hence the performance metric data is not collected.

Symptom

The SevOne NMS discovery process cannot discover Access Points on certain WLC devices, whereas it works on similar other WLC devices. It is possible that the objects are already discovered before the WLC device software version is upgraded to a higher version. Even in such cases where objects exist, the data collection might be affected.
