APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Prefetch, Recovery using list-files is using ftell on theopen
  FILE pointer to get size of file and since this is32 Bit in
  nature - it can end up getting junk valuebased on which the file
  split for threads in processingthese happen.
  

Local fix

• Split single large list file of > 2GB into smaller lists of< 2GB
  each and use for prefetch.

  Benefits of the solution:
  Prefetch can be run with larger list files without having to
  split into smaller list files..
  
  Work Around:
  Split single large list file of > 2GB into smaller lists of< 2GB
  each and use for prefetch.
  
  Problem trigger:
  Running prefetch with a single large list file which is>
  2GB in size.
  
  Symptom:
  Prefetch fails to process the list file properly andis
  seen looping around with a smaller subset.
  
  Platforms affected:
  All Linux OS environments (AFM Gateway nodes)
  
  Functional Area affected:
