Error description

  • When SpringBoot 3 feature is installed from a smaller package
    like kernel.. Its possible a jar used by the thin utility (ws-
    springbootutil.jar) won't be present, and will result in
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
    com/ibm/ws/app/manager/springboot/util/SpringBootThinUtil

Problem conclusion

  • The missing jar entry is now included in the MANIFEST of the thi
    utility jar, no matter how SB3 feature is installed.
    
    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
