Troubleshooting


Problem

Updating a Cron Task Credential by using a SQL Query Tool does not change the password.

Symptom

  1. Maximo administrator changes the password for an account that runs Cron Tasks by following the steps by using a SQL tool in Reset Maximo User Password.
  2. The administrator executes an INSERT statement to change the Cron Task credential (password) from NULL to the new password in the CRONTASKPARAM table.
  3. Cron Task fails at the next scheduled run time.
