After modifying a reporting object structure the changes are not showing when creating a new ad hoc report

Troubleshooting

Problem

Using any version of Maximo you modified an object structure but are not seeing the changes reflected when you try to create an ad hoc (QBR) report.

Symptom

For example, you added an object to the work order object structure called REP_WORKORDER. Its description is Work Order Details. You saved the changes with no errors.  When in Work Order Tracking you use the Create Report action in an attempt to create an ad hoc report.  The list of objects on the left panel are not showing the new object that you added.
