Problem
Process Engine tools (vwtool, peverify) are unable to connect to Content Platform Engine (CPE) when using a wildcard SSL certificate.
You can see all the certificates listed (including the one for the server) in the output, but somehow Java doesn't seem to consider the wildcard certificate as a valid one.
Symptom
The vwtool tool is failing to connect to the Content Platform Engine, with the following error message:
Error: com.filenet.api.exception.EngineRuntimeException: FNRCA0031E: API_UNABLE_TO_USE_CONNECTION: The URI for server communication cannot be determined from the connection object https://xxxxxxxxx.papura.europa.com:11111/smi/MNFGTHYFNC/. Duration 890 milliseconds. PS F:\IBM\FileNet\ContentEngine\tools\PE>
PeVerify is also failing.
