QRadar: Why does my backup archive display false in the Correct Version column?

Question & Answer

Question

QRadar: Why does my backup archive display false in the Correct Version column?

Answer

When you access Admin > Backup and Recovery, in the Backup Archives page the Existing Backups might show the Correct Version column either as true or false for config or data backup type.

To understand the reason why the Correct Version column shows these values, let's consider the following conditions:
1) On T-2 day, the QRadar version is at 7.4.x, and config and data backup is performed.
2) On T-1 day, the QRadar is upgraded to 7.5.x, and config and data backup is again performed.

After the upgrade to 7.5.x, you will observe that the config and data backup taken when QRadar version was at 7.4.x now shows as false in the Correct Version column. The reason for the observation is that the older backups are not at the current version of QRadar.
