In this case, the issue is with APIM APIC v10.0.4 syncing with a DataPower Gateway that is at 10.5.0 or greater. In this scenario, if the client were to upgrade the Gateways first and a Dynamically reregister and reconfigure (DRR) takes place after the upgrade, then they will not be able to publish API's with application authentication enabled. When the gateway does the DRR, it will negotiate the supported webhook features, but in v10.0.4 of APIM the list it sends for available features only matches with batch in the gateway list.
