Error description

  • The IMS Change Accumulation utility, DFSUCMN0, still
requires IMS DD statement (for DBDLIB) in JCL with mACBS
    enabled.

    IEC130I IMS DD STATEMENT MISSING
    Followed by ABENDU0206.

This requires maintaining DBDLIB after conversion to DDL.

Data Set Initialization utility (DFSUPNT0), Online Database
Image Copy utility (DFSUICP0), SB Test utility (DFSSBHD0), and
HALDB Migration Aid utility (DFSMAID0) still require the IMS DD
card to retrieve DBD resource meta data under managed ACB
    catalog directory environment is enabled.

Problem conclusion

  • Database Change Accumulation utility (DFSUCUM0), HALDB Partition
Data Set Initialization utility (DFSUPNT0), Online Database
Image Copy utility (DFSUICP0), and HALDB Migration Aid utility
(DFSMAID0) will use Catalog API to read the DBD from the IMS
catalog directory utility has been modified to use Catalog API
to retrieve DBD resource information. The utilities use catalog
directory by DFSDF region controller parameter or DFS3CDX0 user
    exit.

    DFSUCCT0, UCFCMVEC, DFSUCMN0, DFSUCP80, DFSUCUMC, DFSUCAT,
DFSUCER0 and DFSUICP0 were modified to handle resources stored
    in the IMS Catalog Directory.
