    Assert exp(getDeEntType() == detUnlucky) in
    /project/sprelgpfs514/build/rgpfs514s001f/src/avs/fs/mmfs
    /ts/fs/Direct.h
    

Local fix

  • dev will update xapar info
    

Problem summary

  • GPFS daemon assert: exp(getDeEntType() == detUnlucky) in
    Direct.h. This could occur when there are concurrent access to
    the same directory with one node perform delete on a file while
    another node try to create the same file.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This problem is fixed in 5.1.2.12
