IBM Cognos Analytics crashes when importing a deployment archive

Troubleshooting


Problem

Importing folders from a deployment archive in IBM Cognos Analytics crashes java.exe.
Import fails after importing some content. Usually, importing one folder succeed.

Symptom

Content Manager java.exe process disappears after some time. No dump files are created in bin64 folder.
CM fail-over occurs but import fails without completing.
Windows log an Application Error event for java.exe:
