Troubleshooting
Problem
Cognos Analytics dashboard authors can experience the Save, Save as, Save as a template, or Save as a story process not completing on environments where an HTTP Server uses custom or preserved configuration files.
Symptom
The symptom of the problem can be encountered when executing the following steps:
- Open a new or existing dashboard
- Select the 'Edit' toggle to switch to edit mode
- Select 'Save'
A notification will appear that indicates data caches are being generated. The save progress indicator will appear but never complete.
The following error appears in the console of the browser developer tools:
Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Failed to execute 'compile' on 'WebAssembly': Incorrect response MIME type. Expected 'application/wasm'
