Manual Changes

ESCCOMMLOG.SENDTO has a data type of CLOB. As a result, this cannot be used as an 'order by' attribute. The fix, which is entirely manual for all IFIXes and Patches, is to turn off sorting for this column. The following steps describe how to do this.
1) In Application Designer, export the ESCALATION application to xml. 2) Open the xml and search for controlcommlog_tablebody_2. 3) Add propertysortable=“false”as follows: <tablecoldataattribute="sendto"id="commlog_tablebody_2"inputmode="readonly"label="To Person"sortable="false"/> 4) In Application Designer, import the modified ESCALATION application xml. On the Communications log tab of the Escalations application, column "To Person" will no longer be sortable. |
Manually Installing the Patch
- Log in to Maximo Application Suite Administration as an administrative user.
- On the left, click Applications.
- From the Action menu, select Update configuration.
- In the dialog box, click the pencil icon on the Components line.
- Under Activation configuration, click your workspace details page link.
- From the Action menu, select Update configuration.
- Under Configurations, click the pencil icon on the Components line.
- In the Maximo Base line, under new version click the down arrow.
- Select Version. Enter 8.6.2
- Click Save.
