Troubleshooting
Problem
Adding a remote journal (ADDRMTJRN) for the host loopback interface results in CPD3E37 RC 5 "Host name was not found".
Resolving The Problem
First, check the output of DSPRDBDIRE OUTPUT(*PRINT)
Run command CFGTCP and select option 10 to verify the domain check priority has to be set to *LOCAL.
If the problem is not resolved once the domain is set to *LOCAL.
Run command CFGTCP select option 10 and add the System IP address fully qualified domain name (FQDN).
