JR65271: DMSET COMMAND FOR IIDR DATASTAGE INSTANCE RETURNS ERROR THAT INSTANCE IS NOT FULLY CONFIGURED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When attempting to use the DMSET command to configure Instance
  Parameters for an IIDR Datastage instance, the command will fail
  and report that the instance is not fully configured.
  This will only affect the  IIDR Datastage engine, not other IIDR
  products.
  

Local fix

• The IIDR Datastage Instance has been fully configured and can be
  connected to through  Access Server and  either Management
  Console or CHCCLP they can use either of these methods to modify
  Instance Parameters.
  
  The same error message is possible on other IIDR engines, but
  that is an indication the Instance was not fully configured and
  should be recovered/edited through the  dmconfigurets utility.
