JazzSM DASH - "Internal Server Error" when attempting to connect to DASH through IBM HTTP Server (IHS)

Summary

Accessing DASH through IHS (https://[IHS FQDN]/ibm/console) results in an error page:

"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at you@your.address to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

The [IHS Home]/logs/sslaccess.log shows the following error message corresponding to the failed access:

"ERROR: Missing, invalid, or expired certificate in certificate chain for server qnoiw02zatcrh.vodacom.corp:16311 GSKVAL_ERROR_NO_CHAIN_BUILT (575010)"
