Troubleshooting
Problem
External purge not stopping by the script CONTROL_EXTPURGE.SH STOP.
User manually need to kill the PID to stop the purge.
Symptom
[ b2bi~]$ /opt/ibm/b2bi/bin/control_extpurge.sh stop
Controller loading lists...
killing external purge
kill: usage: kill [-s sigspec | -n signum | -sigspec] pid | jobspec ... or kill -l [sigspec]
Searching for PID
[b2bi]$ sudo cat /b2bi/install/extpurge.pid
16788
Manually kill the pid to stop the external purge
