Abstract
The IBM Maximo Application Suite - Visual Inspection Component Service Update version 8.8.1 was released on 16 June 2023. The service update contains general code and security fix updates.
Content
Service updates are included in the Maximo Visual Inspection Server and the Maximo Visual Inspection Edge subcomponents.
Maximo Visual Inspection
- Operational fixes in a CephFS environment.
- Add maximum data set file limit at 1,000,000 to avoid directory file entry limit.
- Add default confidence threshold of 0.5 on all inference API calls.
- Remove label reference when last label annotation is removed from an image.
- Ensure that the most recently uploaded image is used for the data set thumbnail image.
- Ensure that project group item counts are consistent.
- User Interface improvements when system contains unsupported models.
- Various security vulnerabilities addressed.
Maximo Visual Inspection Edge
- Improve the time trigger accuracy for video files.
- Operational fixes when image inspection results in no detected objects.
- Various security vulnerabilities addressed.
