PH54301: OBJECT COMPARE USES INCORRECT FUNCTION LEVEL (V13 ONLY)

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When running V13 libraries on either a V13 or V12 Db2 subsystem,
  Object Compare incorrectly sets the function level to either
  V13R1M500 or V12R1M500 respectively.
  This can lead to issues where KEY LABEL parameters are ignored,
  incorrect alters of COMPRESS YES to COMPRESS YES FIXEDLENGTH, or
  other functions related to function level. Object Compare should
  properly use the function level that is currently bound with..
  

Local fix

• A temporary workaround includes navigating to the Options for
  Change Functions panel (P.CH from ADB2) and setting the
  following options to the customer needs, this will override the
  function level for the compare.
  
  Example:
  
  DB2 release number . . . . . . . . . . 1215
  DB2 function level . . . . . . . . . . 510
