This is an "End of Support" announcement, that starting August 1st, 2023, IBM will no longer support IBM FlashSystem A9000 and A9000R software versions 12.3.0, 12.3.0.a, 12.3.1, 12.3.2, 12.3.2.a, 12.3.2.a-1, 12.3.2.a-2, 12.3.2.a-3, 12.3.2.b.

Effective August 1st, 2023, IBM will no longer support IBM FlashSystem A9000 and A9000R software versions 12.3.0, 12.3.0.a, 12.3.1, 12.3.2, 12.3.2.a, 12.3.2.a-1, 12.3.2.a-2, 12.3.2.a-3, 12.3.2.b.

Customers please consult with your IBM representatives for the appropriate software version that is recommended for your IBM FlashSystem A9000 and A9000R environment.
Important
The "End of Support" announcement for old software versions aims to encourage customers to upgrade their systems’ software to a more current version which includes recommended security fixes and important stability fixes that improve product reliability.
