Summary
When creating a new item records with autonumbering configuration, the ITEMNUM attribute does not default with the expected autonumbering seed.
Objective
There was a defect reported and it was corrected under:
APAR# IJ33384: ITEM FIELD POPULATES VALUE ON INSERT IN ITEM MASTER AFTER 7.6.1.2 FEATURE PACK UPDATE
This was setting the default value &AUTOKEY& on the ITEM Object on the ITEMNUM attribute, this was fixed 7612 interim fix build 012.
You need to reenter the default value that is missing on the ITEMNUM attribute within the Database Configuration and apply changes. No Admin Mode needed as it's nonstructural.
Steps
Go To Inventory Module and then Item Master
Create New Item
A value will not populate in the Item field after applying the 7612 interim fix Build 012
