Abstract
This article provides information about IBM Security Guardium support deprecation for Microsoft SQL Server versions 2008 and 2012.

IBM Security Guardium no longer supports Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (standard and R2 edition) and Microsoft SQL Server 2012. Those databases are no longer supported by Microsoft:

No IBM Security Guardium features such as Database Activity Monitoring, Classification or Vulnerability Assessment will be supported on the platforms and versions listed above after the dates provided.
This is effective for all Guardium versions v11.4, v11.5 and v12.0 released starting March 2024.
